Falla VR - The Exhibition
In the fall of 2020, choreographer Julia B. Laperrière premiered ›Falla‹ at the Schwankhalle Bremen. In a duet with guitarist Pia Achternkamp, she explored the transformative and empowering potential of the strap-on dildo for new images of female sexuality. A year later, she returns with ›Falla VR – The Exhibition‹, inviting the audience to immerse themselves in the performance through a virtual reality experience. The walk-through installation - a surreal, immersive and bodily landscape that can be experienced visually, acoustically and physically - was designed in collaboration with visual artist Simone Kessler. ›Falla VR – The Exhibition‹ invites visitors to linger and equally offers space for individual experiences and encounters.
