Après le déluge

WORK FOR YOUNG AUDIENCE (6-10 Y.O.)
PREMIERE NOVEMBER 2026

Après le déluge is a whimsical and visually striking performance created and performed by Julia B. Laperrière and Sébastien Provencher. Set in a strange black-and-white world governed by rigid rules, the work follows two humanoid creatures whose explosive arrival disrupts the established order. Through movement, live music, and a series of unexpected encounters, they cautiously navigate a psychedelic landscape filled with mysterious boxes, unusual sounds, and the possible appearance of tentacles. Blending choreography, puppetry, humor, and poetic absurdity, Après le déluge explores what might emerge in the wake of catastrophe: magic, transformation, and new ways of imagining the world. Featuring organic, animated sculptures created by the artist duo Wendt+Dufaux, the piece invites audiences of all ages to reflect on our impulse to categorize and contain everything around us, while celebrating the disruptive and transformative power of chaos.
